Morning Star

Catholic Summer Camp

In the darkness of the present times, we turn to Our Blessed Mother to guide and assist us in our spiritual combat. As Catholics in the world, up-and-coming women must strive to imitate this virtuous Patroness in their homes and abroad as they prepare for their ultimate vocation in life.

Morning Star Catholic Summer Camp is an amazing cross between adventure and retreat. We offer an opportunity like none other: living life for one intense week as a Traditional Catholic farm girl, cowgirl, and homesteader all at once. Here, we hope to inspire young ladies with a love for prayer and work and an appreciation for the blend of these two pillars in a life lived in the world.

What’s a typical day like?

Each day will begin with daily Mass - what better way to start the day than with a visit to Our Lord in Holy Communion! From there, no two days will be alike. However, there will be daily farm chores and interaction with horses, time for recreation and personal prayer, communal meals, and both on-property and off-property adventures. You can count on being a part of a smattering of cooking, baking, gardening, canning, and other farm and household tasks throughout the day. And of course, you can’t live on a horse farm for a week and not get up in the saddle!
